Manorama Aquatics is a dedicated division of Mayank Aquaculture Pvt. Ltd. (MAPL), established to specialize in nauplii and post-larvae (PL) shrimp rearing. It is one of the first state-of-the-art, multiphase shrimp nursery facilities in West India, approved by the Coastal Aquaculture Authority (CAA) and built to meet the evolving demands of modern aquaculture and it is the first state of the art facility that can carry multi species rearing facility.
This first-of-its-kind isolated nursery rearing system in Gujarat revolutionizes conventional shrimp nursery practices. Unlike traditional nurseries located within farming zones, Manorama Aquatics is situated in a secure, pathogen-free, offsite location — far from dense shrimp farming clusters near creek water sources. This isolation reduces the risk of pathogen introduction and cross-contamination, ensuring a healthier and more biosecure environment for rearing shrimp.
By removing the challenges of building complex infrastructure at every farm site, Manorama’s centralized and controlled nursery approach allows MAPL and its partners to standardize and enhance seed quality at scale.
